With Hunt Helping Hands, every full-time employee receives the invaluable gift of time – one day to volunteer with a charity or non-profit organization of their choice. In return, the employee receives 1 day in lieu.

As part of our commitment to fostering a culture of giving back, every staff member across our venues has the unique opportunity to contribute $5000 to a charity of their choosing during the festive Christmas period.
Our staff’s generosity doesn’t stop at financial support. Before contributing, employees engage in thorough research to identify the causes that align with their values. Through a venue-wide staff vote, we collectively decide on the distribution of these funds, emphasising the significance of unity in philanthropy.

University of Newcastle Consultation
Educating the hospitality leaders of tomorrow.
Hunt Hospitality is a key industry advisor to the University of Newcastle’s Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events. We’ve contributed to the development of this degree including writing the curriculum prior its launch in 2023. As the first of its kind, the success of the program promotes careers within the industry and safeguards the hospitality traditions for the generations to come.
Apprenticeship Start Ups
Equipping the future of hospitality legends.
To combat difficulty sourcing trainees and apprentices within regional Australia, Hunt Hospitality has launched a program that equips apprentices with the equipment they need to succeed with a strong head start! New apprentices receive a chef’s uniforms, work safe foot ware and a professional knife set. In addition, apprentices receive a $1000 Bonus within their first 12 months of employment.
